Why Texas? Why Samui?

I come from Austin, Texas.  It is one of the best cities on Earth...certainly the best in the US.  The laid back vibe, the outdoor lifestyle, country music, food food food, beer on the back porch, horseback riding and pickup trucks.  All of that good stuff, I miss.  I wanted to create that same Texas vibe for my fellow travelors here, in Thailand.  So, I retired from teaching Mathematics and moved to this gorgeous island in June 2022.  I'm ready to share my love of all things Western with you lucky people!
